Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to learn about and use ServeLynx, including people who use assistive technology. We aim for this website, servelynx.com, to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we review it as we add new pages and features.

What we have done

  • Pages use a logical heading structure, with one main heading per page, so screen reader users can move through the content.
  • Every page can be used with the keyboard alone: Tab moves forward, Shift + Tab moves back, Enter activates a link or button, and Escape closes a menu. A “Skip to content” link is the first stop on each page, and a visible outline shows where you are.
  • Text colors are chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
  • Images that carry information have text alternatives; decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced in text, not by color alone.
  • Animations respect the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system; content fades in without movement.
  • Training videos for customers include captions where available.

Accessibility options

The accessibility button at the bottom left of every page opens a menu where you can make text larger, switch to high contrast, underline links, use easier-to-read text, or stop animations. Your choices are remembered on your device.

Known limitations

  • Third-party services. Online payments are processed on pages provided by Stripe or Square, which are covered by those providers’ own accessibility practices.
  • The ServeLynx application. This statement covers the servelynx.com website. If you run into a barrier in the ServeLynx web or mobile application, please tell us using the contact details below so we can help and fix it.
